Trying to create unique photographs is a challenge in a world surrounded by images and quick digital cameras. But I like this series, there is a polaroid style in it.

Snapshots of the last days of 2007

4 persons - 4 days - unlimited (almost) km (or miles I should say). The road trip was :

Montréal - Corwnall (just for the borders please!) - Potsdam (check the map) - Buffalo (and buffalo wings of course!) - Pittsburgh - Niagara Falls - Toronto, and back home again. (complete diaporama on flickr)

What I need from a photography

Roxana Brongo

This one is lovely in big. The texture of the grain is similar to a realy old photography.Maybe there is something I don’t find “artsy” with really sharp HD style images. They are too real to create art with. I need pictures “avec du caractère”. That’s what inspires me. The crispiness of high definition new standard is for real subject: documentaries, TV, news, etc. It’s not that I like blurry pictures, au contraire. I guess it depends of what I will do with the images after. Will it be a texture for a new creation, or the subject of a new serie. I also sometimes “crap” a picture to change the reality and create a myth. Yeah. I like that….
