Paris

Well, long time no see. I’ve been crazy-busy lately. I was suppose to go to Paris a week to take some time off and visit a friend. 3 days before leaving, I got a job in Paris for the next 2 months. So, here I am, in beautiful romantic Paris. I will have a computer next week and I will post some pictures. See you soon ;)

ROJO Nike Air published art !

8 pages of 4 images (double-spread) I did are now in stores. Published in Rojo Magazine special edition AIR. You can try to find it at Multimag, La presse international, Chapters…etc. Or ask them to order it. You can order online in Rojo’s web site.

This project was soooo fun to do. I had 2 weeks with some pictures of shoes as inspiration. I could do whatever I wanted. Anything the theme ”AIR” inspired me to do. I did a great photoshoot with a great feet model ;) : Sophie Lauzon. We had fun jumping over water. And then the magic of the collage created the rest. So it’s now out in stores around the world. Check it out because there is a lot of great artists in there… not just me! ^_^

2 coffee and a lot of chocolate, my head is going to explode, but in a good way… I’ve been really creative tonight, hope I’ll have enough energy and passion to finish this new project I’m doing (kind of a new portfolio, a new micro-site for nouknouk)..
I also have a really cool print project coming up..
I’ll keep going with the coffee if I want to do all of this ahahah…

La communauté internet me fascine. Vraiment. Par curiosité, en me googlant, j’ai trouvé un forum de jeu qui commente un vieux projet d’école en shockwave encore disponible dans les archives web de l’UQÀM. Je n’y trouve plus d’intérêt, mais c’est fou l’information qui se disperse sur le web.

Wordpress beta

Oui, j’ai osé changer pour Wordpress. Que du bon y paraît, alors je plonge… les prochains jours risquent d’être un peu pêle-mêle, le temps que je m’y habitue. Mais à la longue, ça ne devrait être que “plus meilleur” ;)

Looking back

Some old montages I did in 2004. It’s good to take a look back. Good way to see if I manage to improve my art. Surely it shows how much I like close-ups, and black and white as texture. I think now I go much more deeper in my work. More levels and more layers.

Rojo’s images are coming along well. I had so much fun doing the photoshoot (thanks so much to my model!). The montage I’m doing right now is also pure fun. I feel lucky and happy. ;)
