New web site for nouknouk.com
Well. I’ve updated my portfolio (nouknouk’s home page) to show a better representation of my work as an artist this last years. So www.nouknouk.com is all brand new. It’s also simplified in the design and the layout to focus on the content: the artwork.

Busy bee
I’m doing a lot of freelance, but I took some more pictures of Boston, mainly the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) which I will post as soon as I have time…

I’m moving to Boston
Well I didn’t know moving was so demanding. My love and I had this floating idea to move (I was about to write “again” but the last time seems to be so long ago…). We didn’t how and when it would happen. But it’s coming soon. And everyday is a challenge. We need to organise a lot of stuff and to focus our mind that the our life will change. But it’s OK. We are so excited about changing air. So we’re moving to Boston this fall. I hope this new city will inspire me in a new way. I always get inspired by new places and I know Boston will have a lot to offer me. I’m thinking about the architecture, the sea, and the mix-match of numerous universities in the area that will stimulate my neurons. yay!

Je travaille depuis plus d’un an à mettre sur pied le branding du futur cidre de glace créé par mes frères. Le domaine Antolino Brongo situé à Saint-Joseph-du-Lac au Québec offrira prochainement son cidre de glace Cryomalus. Le site web est maintenant en ligne et vous donnera plus d’informations sur la compagnie et le produit. C’est assez fascinant

Artwork on place
I’m thrilled. I’ve got helped today to install my artwork for my next exhibition in 2 weeks. I must say it looks pretty good. And also, taking pictures of the process reminded me how much the place inspired the work I did without knowing. The light, the windows, and the place in the gallery where my art will be is just perfect with the creation I did. It’s surely helped me come up with a name for my two pieces. I must say that going into a more abstract road is easier to find the good name for the creation I did. I always had a hard time finding the good words to represent what I did. But I feel that abstract art gives me the opportunity to find a lot of things that fit. It’s not just something you recognize, it can be a thousand things…

Ma prochaine expo : le 1er mars 2008 à la galerie Boy’e dans le cadre de la Nuit Blanche à Montréal
Voilà officiellement, ma prochaine expo aura lieu dans la nuit du 1er au 2 mars 2008 à partir de 20h à la galerie Boy’e au 4872 St-Denis à Montréal. L’expo regroupe 6 artistes (toys, photo, peinture, céramique) et aura comme invitée les fameux cup cakes d’itsi-bitsi. J’y présenterai 2 oeuvres uniques qui sont présentement en production. Donc, notez ça à votre agenda
(j’ai aussi créé le design du flyer..)
