Une autre
Une autre phase créative commence. Ça doit être le printemps qui me réveille. J’ai passé l’hiver à jongler avec l’aquarelle. Maintenant il est temps que je combine mes nouveaux acquis et mes nouvelles trouvailles visuelles dans d’autres montages. Ça s’en vient.

Decover magazine
Decover est un nouveau magazine pour promouvoir les arts visuels montréalais, une vitrine pour les artistes émergents et ceux qui sortent un peu des conventions.
En lien avec la Nuit Blanche du Festival Montréal en Lumières 2010, Decover sortira le même jour, ou enfin cette même nuit, sa 4e édition. Où? À la galerie Boye au 4872 St-Denis où seront exposés les oeuvres des 10 artistes en vedette du magazine… dont moi

Expo
Ma prochaine expo aura lieu au 4872 rue St-Denis à Montréal le dimanche 29 novembre 2009 à partir de 16h. Nous serons 4 artistes qui s’expriment de façon objective ou subejctive grâce à la photographie.

My year in Boston is almost over
My year in Boston is almost over. I’ve got lost so many times when I arrived with all those roads that follow the curve of Charles River, besides, of course, the straight streets of the Back Bay. I can now link different neighborhoods and choose unknown roads knowing where I will end up. And it’s usually to find an excuse to drive on the Memorial Drive on the Cambridge side so I can have a look at the river, the boats, and the sunset of Boston’s downtown buildings. A view I memorized forever, no need of any photographs. I can view it in my head like the outside subway drive I took every morning while living in Paris of the orange sunrise over the white buildings. It takes time to create those unique images in my head, but it’s like a souvenir, my unforgettable souvenir.

Tell me something new
What’s new after 6 months in Boston? I’m starting slowly to know the design/art market better. I finally settle for a small non-profit contemporary art gallery in South Boston. I work at Proof Gallery as a Gallery Assistant. I always liked small galleries but got so much involved in the design world in Montreal that the only thing related to art I did was some production and trying to get myself in some art shows. I’ve got a hard time starting into the art world. Struggling with myself and with a world I didn’t know. I still have a lot to learn but I’m happy to now have a foot into this milieu. I’m aslo thankful to have been able to take a break of my work to try this.
