”An artist is attracted to certain kinds of form without knowing why. You adopt a position intuitively; only later do you attempt to rationalize or even justify it. He is an abstract artist in the most fundamental sense of the word, choosing what colors, shapes, and proportions to use based on intuitiveaesthetic thinking. ”(from wikipedia)

I found this amazing picture of a Stockholm’s subway station. It looks so much like the sixites style of the ones in Montreal.

While my beloved boyfriend is off working in Manchester for some days I thought I’ll browse the Web to know more about the city. I found this amazing building designed by Denton Corker Marshall. It’s Manchester’s Civil Justice Centre. Lovely. There is also a beautiful shot I found on flickr.
