More on Wall Design
As I started working more and more (and thinking a lot about it too) about designs for walls, I noticed that maybe I didn’t explain more precisely what I was doing and why.
After my last exhibition at the end of April, I understood a lot of things:
- that my work as an artist is not enough to get all my ideas out in the world.
- that I loved to see my work printed in really big sizes.
I also discovered that I really enjoy interior design and architecture. But I’m not an interior designer. And surely not an architect. What I enjoy about designs it’s the 2D accent that I can add in an environment. Which I decided (maybe temporary) to call wall design.
I want to make unique images that create a balance in a room, that add the little something that was missing to make it complete. I wand to create graphic art in a way that really fits in an environment.
It can be framed in any way, it can be glued to a wall or any furniture or it can be a complete surface like a wallpaper.
So I’m going to post from time to time experiments I’m doing on existing designs to show my creative ideas and hopefully make them real too.
Hope you enjoy, and if you want to commission a special request, send me an email!
