Imagining Place d’Armes, Montréal

Well, there is some design initiative in Montréal, one of them is the new Places d’Armes.

“In fall 2007, the city will hold a urban design workshop titled “Imagining Place d’Armes” to prepare for the redevelopment of Place d’Armes, one of the projects in Montréal’s three-year capital works program.

The goal of the workshop is to renew the way we see this highly symbolic part of Montréal, enrich its proposed development, strive for greater recognition of Montréal as a UNESCO City of Design and enhance the city’s reputation.”
