Real Tokyo
It’s so real. I’m here. Tokyo. Live.
I really don’t know where to start. Every second here I see something new. I love it.
The flight was really long. 10 hours non-stop. Since Vancouver, I’m about the only white woman. Airport was easy, customs too, no question actually. They speak english so bad, I’m not even sure they would have understand my answers if they have asked questions! My love was there, waiting for me at the exit. **pause** I felt so good.
We took a train (45 minutes), then the metro. It’s a good way to look around a bit. I was sooo excited that now I can’t wait to go to sleep. Too much emotions I guess. The train was cool, I saw rice fields. A lot of them. The train and the metro is so complicated. Take Montreal’s metro and multiply by 100! Everything in Japanese, everywhere there is text that I can’t understand. It never happened to me before. But it’s so fun! Tokyo is so nice, so clean. Here at the north-east limit of the city, I can even say that it smells good outside. It’s a great big city. I can’t wait to see more. I will post some pictures soon. For now, I have to sleep, and calm down, dream too.
